At Pineapple we’re working with one of the leading contract catering companies within the industry. A company who cares deeply about its people and its purpose. Due to the ongoing incredible growth of the business, they are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operations across a range of educational settings.
The role will be reporting into an exceptional Regional Manager who will give you the support and the tools to lead your team into providing an outstanding service to your clients and of course, most importantly, the students.
About the role:
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the quality of food and service provided exceeds all expectation
Providing support and guidance to your teams, you will ensure they have the tools and knowledge to do their job and provide feedback, development and training.
You’ll keep tight control over costs without compromising quality whilst constantly monitoring your contracts to ensure profitability
You’ll take on the challenge to keep clients and students engaged with the food offering by staying up to date with the current trends
Working with the sales function, you ‘ll provide support and knowledge to retain and obtain new business.
You’ll maintain compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures, ensuring you share your knowledge and understanding with your teams
About you:
Our client is looking for somebody who has a real passion for food and providing outstanding service to their clients with the experience in driving profitability and business relationships forward :
You’ll need previous operational level experience in managing and developing teams, ideally within a similar industry .
Your passion for food and service is clear through your work and the work of your teams
You’re a natural leader who drives their team to achieve great things in their work and career development
Stakeholder management is a real skill of yours, you’re comfortable having challenging conversations and can understand both sides of a conversation
You have experience in People processes such as grievances and disciplinaries
You are confident in using an array of IT systems and are happy to learn new skills.
Salary & Benefits:
Working hours are Monday to Friday
Salary - £55,000 per annum
