Based at our Head Office and Distribution Centre at Axis Business Park, Portal Way, Gillmoss the site supports our network of Home Bargains stores.

The site runs 24/7 and the available contract is for 37.50 hours a week working any 5 days from 7 - this will include working weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Available shifts:

Days:

• 2pm - 10pm with fixed weekday rest days - for example, if your allocated rest days are Monday and Tuesday, in one week you will work Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday on the 2pm - 10pm shift.

Nights:

• 10pm - 6am fixed rest days

Suitable applicants will be reliable with a hands on approach to work.

General warehouse duties include using headsets to receive picking instruction, operating Order Picking Units (OPUs), undertaking Pedestrian Picking and Secure Picking and involves considerable manual handling.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working to targets in a fast-paced environment looking to start a career in warehousing and distribution.

• Complete general warehouse duties including picking, de-kit, loading and decant
• Follow instruction and adhere to health and safety practices and procedures
• Work towards achievement of pick rate and other KPI targets
• Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided

• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work to targets
• Able to work well under pressure and to tight timeframes
• Available to work weekends as part of the normal shift pattern (Saturday and Sunday)
• For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 18 years old

• £11.13 per hour
