IT Security and Compliance Analyst

£27,000 - £31,000 per annum

Permanent Office based role working Monday to Friday

Commutable from Harrogate, Northallerton, Thirsk or York

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an IT Security expert to join a well-established growing company based near Ripon in North Yorkshire.

The Role

You will be reporting into the Head of IT. The Security and Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring the company IT Systems and processes are compliant with company policy and all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Duties

• Maintain the Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO27001 certification standards.
• Ensure Systems & Processes are compliant with regulations, legal requirements and contracts.
• Ensure security considerations are addressed in every project.
• Satisfy client supplier security requirements.
• Carry out periodic reviews of security systems and system access.
• Document IT systems and processes.
• Provide advice and support to other IT team members.
• Provide advice and support to other business areas and staff.

The Person

• Experienced and knowledge of Information Management Systems and IT Security Systems
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage a broad workload.
• Good problem solving, analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good customer care skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to use own initiative to drive improvements
• Good level of professional conduct and discretion
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours when required.
