About Us:
PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacies, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralized function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.
About the opportunity:
As Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing a variety of colleagues, influencing stakeholders, ensuring service and performance levels are achieved and that the highest quality standards are maintained at all times.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all relevant regulatory and legal requirements are fulfilled.
As Operations Manager you will lead a multitude of depot initiatives by effectively managing the processes, ensuring service and performance levels are achieved within defined financial and operational objectives.
In this role you will ensure effective team and company communications are cascaded within your location, effectively encouraging involvement and positive commitment throughout the depot. Effective interfaces with the broader Warehouse Team, PHOENIX supply chain, and commercial functions will be critical to develop and assisting in leading vision and value initiatives.
Salary
Up to 38k dependant on experience
Working Pattern
Working hours: 37.5 Hours per week.
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday 16:00 - 0000

Essential Skills/Experience
- Can evident an ability to plan and execute operational plans in their current role(s) within people, budget, and deadline targets.
- A proven track record of leading, motivating, and developing large teams.
- Can provide working examples of increasing productivity, reducing errors; and eradicating waste within their current role(s)
- Can demonstrate a working knowledge of Financial Awareness – understanding depot budgets and implications on running the warehouse.
- PC skills – Word/Excel/PowerPoint – required for management reporting.
- Has a good understanding of all S.O.Ps, inventory, Manpower and automation procedures.
- Basic Employment Law/absence management and G&D.
- Health and Safety/Security Legislation Procedures
- Evident awareness of MHRA/GDP/ISO procedures
