The Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor for Histon. In Histon, we manufacture a host of ambient sweetspreads and jellies for our grocery brands. These includes Hartley'sjams and jellies, Gale's honey, Rose's and Robertsons marmalade's.
The role of the production Supervisor is to coordinate production teams and promote an environment that challenges the existing process and strives for continues improvement and flexibility. To coordinate all aspects of production and improvement projects through excellent communication. You are instrumental in promoting increased skills with their teams.
*Key Responsibilities:*

- To be responsible for ALL labour on their shift in their area of control, ensuring good discipline and factory rules are conformed to at all times.
- Manage and motivate Team. Set and monitor targets for teams. Achieve this via regular 1 to 1 meetings with all staff in their team
- With Team Manager, establish clear objectives and priorities for Team to enable them to meet operational targets and review
- Ensure that changes to demand / product or ingredients within the programme are implemented and co-ordinated effectively with effective feedback to those affected: materials supplies, customer departments and escalation to Team Manager
What you will need for the role / what it will take:
- Possess a recognised safety qualification
- Computer literate
- 5 Years experience of working in the Food Industry with at least 2 years in a team leader type role
