Bodyshop Operations Manager - Harlow, Essex.

Our automotive client launched exciting new prestige Vehicle Wrapping business in the early part of 2023. They have established contracts in place with Car Dealerships in which new “high end” cars will be delivered to the site, professionally PPF wrapped and then collected to take to the relevant car dealerships to be presented to customers.

They are looking for an experienced Bodyshop Operations Manager from the Automotive Trade, who has an excellent knowledge of the vehicle paint process and estimating, is excellent at dealing with multiple tasks at once, highly organised and able to motivate a Bodyshop Workshop team in order to deliver a first class service to their customers!

Details & Benefits Include:

• Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm.
• Salary: is up to £50,000 basic p.a. (depending on experience).
• Contributory pension scheme.
• Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays.
• Onsite Parking Available.
• Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
• Required: UK Right to Work & Full UK Drivers Licence.
• Starting: September 2023

Responsibilities of the Bodyshop Operations Manager role include:

• Efficient and effective running of the business, its admin and its performance.
• Scheduling all work for vehicles coming through the business.
• Liaising with manufacturer and Car Dealerships.
• Workshop Control - Managing a team of 12 PPF Wrappers in the workshop.
• Quality Control – ensuring the wrapped vehicles leave the business in A1 condition!
• Deliver excellent customer service on a B2B level to ensure retention.
• Stock Control – required levels of equipment and products are maintained.

The successful candidate will already have an established career within the accident repair industry as a Bodyshop Manager and extensive knowledge of the paint process. They will also have a proven track record of Managing 10 or more staff within a fast paced workshop environment and have an excellent knowledge of automotive management software systems.

As a business they are looking to expand in the next 6 months by opening another site in which this Bodyshop Operations Manager role will be heavily involved so this will best suit the go getters and trail blazers of the automotive Bodyshop world!
