Job description

We are looking for an Operations/Warehouse Manager. It is a critical position to us here at MotorScrubber and delivers a huge impact both on the customer experience and on bottom line performance within our warehouse here in our HQ in Sheffield.

What you will be doing:

You will play a critical role in the management, control, and direction of all areas of Operations within our warehouse. Along with managing and coaching.

The extent of your duties will include:

· Always working to the MotorScrubber DNA when at work, ensuring the DNA is consistently demonstrated by all employees of MotorScrubber

· Planning, organizing and managing the daily work of warehouse staff to ensure objectives are achieved (and ideally exceeded) and all operational procedures are adhered to.

· Management of the team, including conducting appraisals, 1:1s and ensuring all weekly timesheets are completed and submitted for payment

· Conducting spot checks and quality assurance on the factory teams work ensuring corrective action when needed

· Management of the warranties helpdesk and email address

· Assembling components to complete machines and supporting with creation of machines during peak and busy periods

· Recruiting and training both full time and adhoc team members along with ensuring all new starters are onboarded correctly and are aware of all health & safety aspects that pertain to the role and the business standards

· Engaging and motivating the team – ensuring a positive workplace culture is maintained

· Supporting technical support and quoting for customer repairs along with fault finding and repair machines.

· Organizing and arranging overtime (when required) in conjunction with the Business Support Manager

· Monitor stock levels in other countries stores, along with reviewing the UK storage facility in Sheffield

· Responsible for the use of the Forklift truck within the environment

· Arranging warehouse transport, collections and deliveries along with ensuring dispatch times are communicated to business support

· Updating the company stock control system ZOHO as required with supply costs

· Conduct weekly, monthly and annual stock check/counts as required per the calendar of the business ensuring feedback and outputs supplied to Business Support Manager

· Continuous review of the current practices within the factory, ensuring a safe and productive environment is maintained

· Placing orders with suppliers where required in liaison with purchasing manager

· Track and record orders as required using online and offline processes, receiving PO into stock, checking condition and reconciling order to delivery note.

About you:

· Degree in logistics, business administration, or in a related field– Beneficial however not essential

· Previous experience in a warehouse environment

· Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrable experience in handling disgruntled customers

· Have experience in leading large and diverse teams in a large warehouse environment

· Be competent in two or more production or supply chain areas, with an impressive track-record in a similar fast- paced logistics, distribution, manufacturing or engineering environment. Having experience in purchasing would also be helpful

· Be passionate about achieving results and driving production through efficiency and process improvement.

· Ability to prioritize and work on your own initiative. Work within Company deadlines.

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Able to demonstrate good communication skills at all levels of management, customers and employees.

· Computer literate

· FLT license

· Team management & leadership skills

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
