At Cycas Hospitality we’re looking for an exceptional General Manager for one of latest editions to our portfolio.
The General Manager will report to the Vice President of Operations and will be the strategic business leader of property operations. You will lead the department heads to develop and implement the operational and commercial strategy.
You will be responsible for ensuring the hotel service exceeds our guest expectations whilst at the same time ensure our employee satisfaction scores meet your targets. Overall the team will be focused on growing revenues and maximising the financial performance of this new hotel.
The General Manager will balance working with their own on property team & our Cycas off property teams to meet owner expectations.
Who you are…
- A GM with a strong commercial focus with progressive experience in hotel industry.
- Good financial and analytical skills (e.g., ability to analyse P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecast)
- A working commercial understanding including revenue management, ecommerce, and sales.
- Has demonstrated the ability of building high performance operation teams.
- Strong communication, coaching, mentoring, negotiation, and mediation skills; can articulate compelling ideas
- Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates ability to deliver results under difficult trading conditions and shows capability when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
- Experience in evaluating business trends, developing, and successfully implementing new operational programs and strategies that enhance business performance.
- Demonstrates success in evaluating risks and developing proactive strategies and plans to mitigate business issues.
- Successful track record of creating positive employee & guest relations.
