Job Description Summary
Our company is seeking a Sales Operations Assistant to join our Chinese Sales Team, they will work with the Head of China and report to the Operations Manager. In this position, you will be expected to drive partnership growth throughout China at government, commercial & school levels as well as help develop a China market-focused team to service our country-wide network. You will be responsible for training new employees, analysing & tracking key metrics, & helping support the sales partners by using these key metrics.
You will be working on designing & proposing delegations & trips for our established China network. Recruiting new local partners to support in school members & customers establishing partnerships & selling overseas study programmes & exchanges.
You will be responsible for adjusting product details based on customer, partner & government feedback & working closely with the operations teams in organising school hosting itineraries & leading & negotiating contracts with specialist China agents to book & deliver life-changing immersion trips.
To be a successful operation assistant you must demonstrate great communication skills & excellent time management skills. Our ideal candidate is someone who holds a bachelor’s degree in an area of business & has some previous work experience.
Job Salary & Benefits
As Sales Operations Assistant you will have a basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum based on experience, we also offer other benefits:

Job Core Responsibilities
As the Sales Operations Assistant at our company, you will:
- Liaise with existing accounts and seek to establish new accounts from potential sales outlets or trade referrals
- Create & give tailored sales presentations, ensuring you meet the potential client's needs.
- Submit daily feedback to the Operations Manager & Head of China utilising the online systems we have in place.
- Resolve any customer queries by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Assist with onboarding any new employees, schools, & partners.
- Analyse & track key metrics such as sales leads & conversions.
- Support sales partners in finding school partners.
- Develop & manage key relationships with key sales partners, schools & government bodies to enhance productivity, develop, maintain and build the relationships.
- Research & source new suppliers
- Assisting with documentation & organisation of international school trips.
- Organising & delivering leadership delegations - including creating itineraries to a set budget, proposals and making reservations.

- Keeping detailed records of all key contacts & prospects.
- Lead in sales calls to secure & close deals.
Job Requirements
Our ideal Sales Operations Assistant will have:
- Computer literacy across multiple sales & workflow programs, such as Monday, WeChat, Zoom, Microsoft365, & HubSpot.
- People management & leadership skills.
- Financial & commercial acumen with strong data analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Strong communicator & negotiator with presentational skills.
- Be target driven to exceed KPIs
- Have the desire to build conductive & sustainable customer relationships
- Be able to adhere to standards & procedures whilst maintaining confidentiality whilst being confident enough to question inappropriate behaviour.
- Can prioritise & manage your time as well as multitask to ensure work is of high quality & excellent results are achieved.
- Be able to adapt to fast-paced situations and surroundings successfully.
- Maintain professional & technical knowledge by attending workshops, research and reviewing publications. Establish a personal network & participate in professional societies.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin.
- Be able to travel between China & UK.
- Hold a valid working VISA if not a UK citizen.
Preferred Experience
- Sales and/ or PR-related roles in Education or Travel industries.
- Operational experience
- Account management experience
- Experience with budget preparation & management.
- Degree in a business-related field.
