We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Healthcare Management Trainee. Our training programme is specifically designed to give you the knowledge and skills required to become a successful healthcare manager. As a trainee, you will have a range of dynamic roles and responsibilities that will develop throughout the programme.
Assisting with the management of day-to-day operations
Shadowing all departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the diverse roles that exist within a medical practice
Supporting the development and implementation of new services and initiatives within the practice
Assisting in developing policies to ensure the practice runs smoothly and complies with NHS standards
Undertaking general administrative tasks such as overseeing email inboxes and maintaining databases
Acting as a point of contact between the practice and our Patient Participation Group
Learning about and assisting with the practice complaints procedure
Presiding over patient feedback on a monthly basis through our Friends and
Family feedback portal
Essential Qualifications:
A minimum of three A-Levels/BTECs as well as GCSEs in Maths and English (pass level and above)
Desirable Qualifications:
An Undergraduate, Master's or professional equivalent, ideally in business or a related field
Experience working in a health or social care setting
Essential Skills and Personal Qualities:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office
Interest in the healthcare sector and business management
