Headquarters in Grangemouth, with additional depots across Scotland and the North West of England, we operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. The role

We have an exciting new opportunity within our Grangemouth Depot , we are seeking applications for the role of Manager Custom Operators, reporting directly to the Operations Director.

You will manage, develop and motivate staff. Deliver excellent customer services through a detailed and thorough understanding of the business. Drive the Sales and profits in line with budget.

Key Responsibilities will include :

· To handle all new account openings from end to end, (you will be the point of contact between Credit control & client)

· To gain a working knowledge of all CO accounts and maintain a working relationship with local customers within these.

· Provide technical insight and advice to customers where required to add value to the sales process

· Manage aged debt of CO accounts

· Deliver excellent customer service, retention of customers and repeated business

· Manage and control CO costs in line with budget

· Deliver the CO sales target each month and recommend areas for improvement

· Manage all personnel efficiently and effectively to deliver the profit target

· Report monthly performance of department to the Operations Director

· Lead by example to all staff in promoting a positive culture within the business

Key Skills:

You must be able to demonstrate a working history in an operated plant hire environment at a management level. An understanding of contract terms and conditions, including negotiation would be an advantage. Exhibit excellent organisation skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
