Overview:
Quinnipiac University invites applications for an Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball to assist the Head Coach with program management including coaching, administration, coordination and recruitment of a collegiate Women’s Basketball program. This position focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in managing and directing the basketball program
- Assist with team planning, including training, coaching, competing and scheduling
- Lead the Player Development Program for each student-athlete
- Assist in strategic plan for recruiting both domestically and internationally
- Lead reorganization efforts and all items/events pertaining to alumnae
- Maintain adherence and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and university policies
- Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience may substitute for some of the above education requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven aptitude for basketball coaching
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills
- Ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the national basketball community
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous successful Women’s basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college level
- Experience in recruiting is preferred but not required
- Experience with the administration and coordination of a collegiate Women’s basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
