Another part of our business is the training side which we are looking to grow significantly in the coming months and years.
The role will involve overseeing and managing the training aspect of our business. This will include managing and developing new and existing training courses, creating and implementing marketing strategies to generate new clients as well as implementing and overseeing our new ‘Legal Training’ platform.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, with previous experience preferred. An outgoing personality with commercial awareness is absolutely essential along with a willingness to learn and grow within our firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in a reputable, growing company.
The role is remote (from home), however the successful candidate will be required to attend the office in Oldham or Sheffield once every 1-3 months for an in-person meeting.
Main Responsibilities
· Managing the existing training catalogue by liaising with trainers, organising new training dates and creating new training courses based on demand.
· Selling course places to inbound leads and managing own pipeline .
· To identify, develop and implement new training courses.
· Project managing the implementation of our new digital platform ‘Legal Training’, which includes organising and overseeing the production of training videos.
· Conducting outreach via email marketing and drip campaigns to generate new clients via business development.
· Providing pre and post course support to delegates e.g. upselling other courses, dealing with client issues and complaints etc.
· Actively working with the IAS marketing team to identify additional marketing channels for training clients.
· Utilising social media to market upcoming training courses and generate interest.
· Line managing a Sales Executive (after 3 months) and Business Development Executive (after 6-12 months)
Required Skills
· Excellent phone manner
· Excellent English writing skills
· Proficient in IT systems such as CRM, Office etc
· Excellent organisational skills required to keep on top of project workload
· Ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
· Experience of closing sales
Experience Required
· Educated to degree level or equivalent
· Project management experience desirable
· Business development experience essential
