The role
Acts as a representative and support to the COO with internal issues and operational matters. Assist with translating strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organisation-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning across all depots. Delivering insight and impact through projects that grow the business and our people. Liaison with CFO to ensure that budgeting for the staff is in line with objectives. Direct liaison with HR to manage the people function of the business in relation to the depot/drivers. Create and maintain internal relationships and advise other department managers with regard to policies and process relating to logistics and transportation. Ensure that the brand and services of Fuelmii are delivered in the best possible way to customers, suppliers and wider reach. Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with external service providers, contract guidelines, ensuring performance is monitored and recorded to aid in continuous improvement. Monitor transportation costs, health and safety and governance that we must adhere to. Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organisational outcomes are met. Adhere to company, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary with the relevant management of the departments/business functions. Communicate with the internal teams in a collaborative and supportive manner at all times. Develop a culture of excellence Infuse and help the logistic team to adhere to the company vision When required, liaise with customer service team regarding escalations of any problems. Support Sales team Manager in developing Fuelmii commercial strategy Represent Fuelmii to our key clients when required
Key Responsibilities:
•Be initial point of contact for queries to COO
- Participates in strategic initiatives by leading them and reporting results back to the COO
- Ensuring that the company meets all statutory requirements
- Larger focus on internal operations for scalability of the company
- Manage office set up and day to day functions with help from Office Manager
- Assist with implementation of business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed by the COO
- Implement growth and expansion methods that will be provided by the COO
- Manage monthly budget and operational spend costs as implemented by the CFO
- Establish operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
- Assist COO and the executive team to prepare and present board papers in regards to operational aspects of the business.
- Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
- Identify, investigate and propose cost saving opportunities within the supply chain and develop operational plans for implementation, while ensuring due diligence, stakeholder engagement, and accuracy of data is completed and up to date.
- Carry out a quarterly meeting with COO and connected departments to include policies and processes according to Operator and Driver Handbooks
- Support the business through change and growth periods from an operational stance
- Ensure that the brand and company are represented in the highest esteem with partners, suppliers and customers as well as all internal staff
- Support all staff members to perform their duties to the best of their ability
- Strategically managing time, evaluating opportunities and determining fit with priorities across projects
- Work closely with the People team in areas such as; recruitment, orientation, training, coaching, counselling, disciplinary, and communication programs
Working hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30. We are a 24-7 operation and could receive calls outside of work hours, however this is rare
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Education:
- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Operations management: 4 years (required)
