On your day to day, you will:

  • Lead the operations team, including hub supervisors and drivers, from the hub
  • Implement the operational and maintenance processes of their facility, including the planning and on-going operations of in-bound receiving, sortation and warehouse management systems solutions
  • Oversee the fleet, including managing drivers, carrying out capacity planning, planning maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Work closely with the operations team to identify areas of growth within the team and the daily operations
  • Responsive communications with the company’s central operations team to mitigate delays or impact on service
  • Set, communicate, and manage the team’s KPIs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to achieve the main company KPIs and targets.
  • Liaising with the customer service operations team to ensure the service provided is always up to standard

A bit about you

  • You'll have a number of years in logistics and or last-mile delivery
  • Enthusiastic about on-demand logistics
  • Able to think on your feet, both day to day and strategically
  • Hands-on, assertive, with a good eye for detail
  • Happy to work the occasional weekend (days in the week provided in-lieu)
  • A team player - productive culture is super important
  • Make data-driven decisions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
