Job description
Areas of Responsibility:
a) To help manage and oversee the day to day running of the companies’ operations and procedures across departments
b) Liaise with other Departmental Managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of the team’s operational development with the common goal of the continued success of the company as a composite unit;
c) To help Business Development with implementation of IT Software, programs and documentation to help streamline their processes and look for continual improvement.
d) To help Small Works Installations with implementation of IT Software to ensure procurement of materials and labour, staff timesheets is job costed to streamline processes and maximise profits.
e) To help Large Installations / Project Management with implementation of IT Software to ensure procurement of materials and labour is job costed and Monthly Cost Reports produced to evaluate project delivery and cash position and to maximise profits.
f) To help Accounts with any problematic customers and processes being followed before action such as disconnections are implemented
g) To assist Service with ensuring a high level of Customer Service is being implemented, KPI’s and Audits are being undertaken in line with the company’s Policy and procedures and look for continual improvement
h) Ensure the company IT systems are fit for purpose and look at ways to improve systems
i) Ensure the Companies Polices are up to date and reflect the latest NSI and Industry standards
j) Assist HR and All Departments with Staff Management, recruitment, appraisals, training needs and discipline.
k) Secure, create and manage service level agreements for the companies’ customers
l) Develop and maintain the company’s client base and promote operational excellence of the product and services provided by the company
m) Monitor measure and report on team training and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. Take necessary action to communicate/advise and assist team members according to performance levels;
n) Hold formal, regular monthly meetings including all Departmental Managers to discuss all aspects of the company’s performance against agreed targets
o) Develop relevant personal skills and capability through planning and attending training courses, subject to company approval;
p) Ensure all activities undertaken meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety/legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duties of care;
q) Maintain and develop the corporate image and reputation of the company
r) Contribute to executive policy and strategy and offer support to the directors
s) Any such duties deemed to be within the competence of the jobholder that may be required from time to time for the needs of the company
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
