We are working exclusively with an ingredients manufacturer, who are an SME that are part of a larger group, in the search for an Operations Manager to lead their team North Yorkshire. The Operations Manager they are searching for will be driving the operation of the site in order to achieve optimal efficiency and product quality, as well as delivering a great service to their customers.
The person that will be successful as the Operations Manager will be:

· Highly motivated and able to motivate others
· Hands on in their approach
As a company, our client prides themselves on building long term and trusted relationships with their clients, with many of those being built from when they were founded over 30 years ago. The same goes for their team! With a small site based team, they have a tight knit and friendly team, where everyone supports each other to strive towards industry best practice.
To be successful in the role you will need:
· A background within operational manager, operating at a Production Manager level or above
· A good understanding of Health and Safety
· A background within manufacturing, ideally within food and beverages
Some of the key responsibilities of the Operations Manager are:
· Leading the operations team, ensuring the team are working efficiently and safely at all times
· Ensuring the production schedule meets customer requirements on quality and OTIF
· Ensure the team are developed to have the right range of skills to support business needs
· Ensure all processes are running to their optimal efficiency and minimum losses
· Fostering and driving a culture of continuous improvement
They are offering the successful candidate circa £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus and benefits.
