Job description
We are currently working with an established business in the cleaning service and equipment industry to recruit and ambitious operations manager who will be able to lead the business and grow it over the coming years. The current owner is looking to wind down their own involvement and so this is a great opportunity for some to come in and make this role their own.
Core responsibilities include:
- Client liaison (a mix of trade, commercial and domestic customers) to ensure customers are serviced, satisfied and their needs are met.
- Manage sales of new equipment and promote such to the customer base both existing and new.
- Targeted business development to drive the business further and foster growth.
- Coordinate the service department maintaining equipment including managing 2 engineers and support with basic maintenance as and when required.
- Dealing with administrative, financial and compliance responsibilities relevant to the running of an SME.
Ideal candidates will be ambitious and hungry to grow and develop and established and successful business. Good business acumen and specific industry knowledge (including some hands on maintenance understanding) is also required for this role.
For this the client are offering a salary of £35,000 per annum plus negotiable benefits package, company vehicle (small van) and option for company share scheme.
