Job summary
You will have to have considerable scope for discretion in interpreting and applying rules and policies. You will directly line manage 3 HEOs and indirectly 5 EO’s, delivering recruitment and onboarding activities and will support your colleagues to deliver their recruitment campaigns whilst also holding them to account over data and compliance. With a strong emphasis on delivering customer excellence for both our candidate and hiring manager population, you will work with the Senior Recruitment Operations Manager to ensure a smooth, timely and consistently high quality service is delivered by the GCF Resourcing Operations Team.
You will work alongside other expert services such as HR, Finance and Talent ensuring seamless handoffs are maintained. This will involve working to deliver process improvement to existing processes and policies. This role is an operational role but in a recruitment environment. This is a fantastic role for someone with an operational focus wanting to transition into HR/Recruitment or someone who has had previous roles in HR/Recruitment but looking to widen their scope in operations/business management. Business unit Overview:
The award-winning Capability Team was formed in 2014/15 to bolster departments in improving their commercial capability. A new concept for government, we have developed a suite of capability services that central government departments and wider government bodies can access. A Commercial Recruitment Hub has been created, offering a centralised recruitment service for departments to fill commercial vacancies starting from Commercial Managers progressing up to Senior Commercial Specialists.
Within this hub there is a pool of centrally-employed and accredited commercial professionals that can be assigned to departments to work on commercial assignments. Once in the role, these individuals have access to training and accreditation programmes, they are assigned their own commercial career coach and benefit from a tailored talent management service. We want to be the best commercial function in the United Kingdom. Thus the Commercial Capability Program has been created to attract, retain, develop and reward these specialists, to ensure we appeal to the best in the commercial sector to come and join us. Along with providing departments with this talent pool, as a Commercial Capability Program, we also support the central and wider government in commercial capability training, advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage delivery of the end-to-end recruitment operations service, providing support to the team of account managers as required- Oversee all administrative processes from launch to successful on boarding handover to GCO (Government Commercial Organisation) HR
- Act as an escalation point for your team on complex query resolution and own through to conclusion where needed. Escalating to Senior Recruitment Operations Manager as needed
- Ensure compliance and own checks for systems, processes and data trackers (Workday, Oleeo)Be the main point of contact for financial processes for the recruitment hub
- Have responsibility for the smooth running of our financial processes and ensuring GCO finance receives what they need for audit and compliance
- Ensure our Monthly Finance accrual is as accurate as possible and that Quarterly finance recharge/invoicing are correct and delivered to GCO finance on time
- Work with the Senior Recruitment Operations Manager to improve the end to end service provided by the Recruitment Operations Team
- Ownership of and responsibility for GCO recruitment data and reporting
- Directly Line Manage 3 HEO’s and indirectly 5 EO’s
