Job description
We are seeking an Operations Manager to liaise with and support the Business Owners in the smooth and efficient running of the practices. This includes the strategic planning, development, co-ordination and maximisation of service delivery within the available resources with high standards of corporate governance.
The following is a list of responsibilities undertaken during the course of the working week by the Operations Manager.
· Accounts
- Dealing with Accountants for all practices with our external accountancy firm.
- Responsible for Xero and updating the accounts information.
- General account and banking
· Commercial Contracts with various suppliers for all practices.
· Dental Payroll collation and completion of relevant figures.
· NHS Legal and Regulatory Framework support.
- Implement new national procedures and changes where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with NHS regulations and statutory compliance.
· Legal Information
- Checking of Lease information for Inverurie and Inchvannie.
- Provide details Scottish Assessors and Premises revaluation for all practices.
· To develop a corporate strategic business plan and support and coordinate individual business plans for each practice.
· To assist practices as necessary in the preparation of planning, budgeting, service development plans and NHS Inspection reports.
· To provide direct line management, leadership and support for the Practice Managers within the group
· Resource Management providing financial controls and monitoring budgets.
· To provide assistance as required to meet the reasonable needs of the business.

· Organised and efficient
· Accountancy/Book keeping experience would be advantageous, but not essential
· NHS Dental experience would be advantageous, but not essential

Working a 24-32 hours per week, between Monday to Friday. Day and Hours to be agreed with successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will based in Dingwall or Huntly with some remote working, although fully remote may be considered after full training.

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Operations management: 2 years (preferred)
