IT Infrastructure Operations Officer
Full-time, Permanent
Grade 6 £29,762 - £35,308 (From August 2023 - £30,487 - £36,024) plus additional market pay supplement

IT Services is a friendly, vibrant and fast-moving department with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality digital technology services to our staff and students.
We now seek to appoint an experienced IT Infrastructure Operations Officer (Database Administrator).
You will be proficient in the troubleshooting of complex database operational incidents and performance issues and have experience of working with Windows and Linux operating systems. You will need to have experience and knowledge of working with relational database technologies including SQL server and Oracle 19c or higher. SQL and PLSQL programming skills are also essential.
You will also have excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills and be able to work under pressure. Expected to respond to colleagues and stakeholders needs with the intention to provide an excellent service and able to work methodically, prioritising and managing tasks.
