Job description

Do you have experience in 3D Art and Design? Would you like to provide students at Weston College with technical support within the classroom and studio environment? We are looking for a Technician - 3D Art and Design to join our team on an 80% basis.

You will set up and test all of the equipment that will be used, as well as offer induction sessions to students to ensure that they are able to use all of the equipment safely.

As the Technician for 3D Art and Design, you will help to service and maintain all equipment and ensure safe working practices are adhered to.

You will need to be experienced in one or more of the following:

  • Laser cutting technologies
  • Plasma cutting technologies
  • 3D Printers and 3D Printing
  • Torch based Welding
