Graduate Operations Engineer
Hull, UK
We have numerous opportunities for recently graduated engineers to have visibility in all aspects of our operation and focus on improving our processes and implementing elements of the Operational Excellence plan into our operations including efficiency improvements, digitisation and problem solving.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will support the operations team by generating original ideas to plan and execute improvements in manufacturing processes and supporting systems.
You will lead projects in the specification, purchasing, designing and installing new equipment as well as modifications to existing manufacturing equipment.
In this role you will develop project management and change management skills within a regulated industry as well as a deep understanding of the management of Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment and Operational Excellence (Lean) methodologies and how to apply them within the operation by leading kaizen activities in the factory.
What does success look like?
We are looking for somebody who has graduated with a degree in a technical or operational discipline and has a proactive, solution-orientated mindset and is driven by practical results.
