Ocado is a technology-led, global software and robotics platform providing a unique end-to-end solution for customers on a global scale.
As part of growing the Ocado business, we have recently announced a new mission to sell our unique ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) product to organisations operating outside of grocery e-commerce across the globe.
The MHE and software is highly advanced and previously only available to grocers.
About the role
There is an opportunity to join this team as an Operations Development Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and leading the operational development of the OIA functions to achieve business growth and operational excellence.
This pivotal role requires a blend of business acumen, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities.
About you
- Proven experience managing large cross-functional projects with inter-dependencies
- Strong business and project acumen with the ability to understand complex commercial dynamics.
- Ability to work to independently shape projects plans and manage to tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience of the use of a wide range of project/programme management methodologies (ie. APM / PMI, Agile, etc.) as well as Lean methodologies
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
