THIS OPPORTUNITY REQUIRES THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
Job Purpose:
To expedite global inbound / ouotbound movements on behalf of our clients. To work in their interests whilst delivering strategic objectives of the Bollore group.
Profile
- Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements
- Receiving pre-alerts and shipping documentation for Courier, Air and Road
- Opening of files and issuing customs entry instructions for arrivals ensuring 100% check for compliance in line with company AEO accrediatation.
- Day to day invoicing and job costing
- Follow up of purchase orders/shipments
- Communication with overseas offices if required
- Ensuring we meet company Data Quality KPIs with required tracking information
- Ensuring any Purchase Matching queries are cleared within KPI timeframe
- Collecting VAT/Duty from customers if required
- Other duties as reasonably requested by line manager
Minimum Requirements:
- Logistics / shipping experience.
- Computer literacy is a must
- Professional telephone manner and customer service skills are essential
- Attention to detail is vitally important
- Friendly, calm and professional manner
- Ability to handle pressure and good time-management
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and self-motion expected
