Our Client specialise in providing equipment and solutions to the global offshore energy industry – helping clients drive efficient and sustainable offshore operations.
What is the role?
As an Operations Coordinator you will be in involved in the co-ordination and scheduling of operational staff/technicians. You will be responsible for booking travel, arranging visas and performing regular competency/appraisal assessments of service technicians and contractors. Training and supervision of service technicians and trainees in correct offshore procedures. Driving team and contractor participation in on-board safety systems. Understanding of completing AEL internal documentation & where it is filed.
What do the day-to-day duties look like?
Liaising with Client Representatives at all levels. Assisting with Inventory certification/management using company tool database. Assisting with transport logistics bookings including import/export. Supporting Operations Manager and Warehouse Supervisor where applicable. Taking responsibility for driving actions to completion relating to quality and safety issues, including improvement actions. Abiding by all statutory requirements including those related to H&S. Understanding and complying with company’s policies and procedures. First Aid and Fire Marshall duties. Participating on a week on/week off duty rota.
