Acies an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Graduate Civil and Structural Engineer to join the team based in Edinburgh, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Acies is a small but smart business within RSK Group, providing Civil and Structural design consultancy to institutional clients, developers, agents and contractors in commercial property sectors, as well as expert witness services, technical due diligence reporting, structural inspections and construction monitoring. Acies is particularly well known for complex refurbishment and re-use projects, enabling clients to optimise their assets.
Responsibilities:
- Civil and Structural Engineering design for a variety of commercial building projects, of both new build and renovation/alteration projects

Use of design software packages including:
- TEDDS
- S-Frame
- Tekla Structural Designer
- Tekla Fastrack Suite
- REVIT
- Robot
- Microdrainage
- AutoCAD LT
- Attendance at Design Team and Client meetings
- Visits to site for inspections and surveys
Qualifications and Experience:
- BEng or MEng in civil and/or structural engineering
- Civil Engineering/Drainage design experience an advantage
- Aiming to become a Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE
- Candidates must be willing to spend time on site and occasional stays away from home
- Full UK driving licence
