Job description
The Data Operations Associate is responsible for a wide variety of duties assigned by and in support of the Data Operations Specialist and Data Operations Coordinator. The Data Operations Associate will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the completion of the department's goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner.
The Data Operations Associate ensures smooth procedure in our office, contributes to driving sustainable growth, and requires maintaining confidential and professional interactions with employees and management. Other duties shall be assigned as necessary.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Coordinates and completes significant special projects independently or in cooperation with other groups as directed by the Manager, Data Operations Specialist and Data Operations Coordinator, or designate
- Preparing data for meetings and presentations
- Support and partner with teams across the enterprise
- Monitor data management processes to ensure data quality and consistency
- Implement business intelligence and rules, optimize data processes, and perform data quality audits
- Analyze complex data, advanced expertise in data mining, data modelling and visualization tools
- Ensuring accuracy and timely reporting on program/project metrics
- Provide quality assurance support around analytic outputs contained in business intelligence reports
- Assist with analytics development and testing, as well as existing product and analytics optimization
- Running data queries, maintaining data integrity and security, and ensuring the proper sorting and organizing of databases
- Work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Perform various ad-hoc reporting, research, and analysis duties to support day-to-day operational and strategic management decisions
- Identifying and recommending ways to simplify and automate processes to increase reporting productivity
- Adhering to company data guidelines
- Maintaining data integrity and security
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in the produce industry are highly preferred
- Knowledge of Famous Software is an asset
- Computer and data entry experience with a high level of accuracy
- Proven organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to fine details
- Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of the job
- Ability to work Saturdays and holidays
