Claire’s have an opening for a highly-organised individual with excellent communication and planning skills to support our Piercing lead in Europe to ensure the delivery of operational excellence and the execution of key Piercing initiatives.

An advocate for Claire’s Piercing services, this role will drive operations and the strategic plan within Europe, formulating localised strategies where required ensuring an understanding and compliance with local legislation.

Working as part of a small team dedicated to Piercing, you will be a key point of contact and will own all communication and documentation for anything piercing-related within Europe.

The role will work to continuously improve piercing operations within our stores and will utilise digital tools to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers. This will be supported by ensuring the most up to date training is delivered within the store network.

Role Objectives:

  • Deliver operational excellence across EU balancing brand standards & local legislation.

  • Support Piercing Lead to drive operations & strategic plan within Europe, identifying key service initiatives – feeding into Global Piercing organisation.

  • Drive end-to-end coordination, execution & validation of all Piercing initiatives, feeding in progress to EU & Global partners.

  • Advocate for Claire’s piercing services, formulating localised strategies where needed & enabling piercing in all locations. Providing strong governance, regularly validating field compliance; working in close collaboration Risk & Retail leadership to execute training, audit & risk assessment programs.

  • Maximise commercial piercing opportunities by engaging field with clear communication.

Key Accountabilities:

  • First point of contact for all day-to-day department queries. Replying to queries in timely manner & escalating as necessary

  • Ownership of Piercing field communications, producing simple, informative & engaging content.

  • Robust understanding of all EU local Piercing legislation, maintaining centralised documentation & publishing policy updates when required.

  • Robust understanding department priorities & needs, accurately estimating time and effort required to complete required tasks to deliver.

  • End-to end coordination of piercing initiatives from plan to execution & subsequent validation.

  • As required, providing stakeholders with relevant, summary reporting of store surveys - making appropriate recommendations to act swiftly on field feedback.

  • Maintenance of digital & physical piercing space (Piercing School) ensuring availability of all resources as seen in store; Accessible to all key stake holders delivering total department transparency.

  • Management of DPT trainer program records ensuring all relevant tools available, maintaining database, providing HR & Labour partners with relevant updates to ensure rewards & hours as appropriate.

  • As required, co-ordination of remote & in person training sessions managing event & delegates attendance. Contributing to the success of training by acquiring feedback, lessons learnt to deliver ongoing improvement.

  • Super-User of in store digital tools, responsible for user acceptance testing, landing required updates in line with piercing protocols & maintaining training documentation.
