Job description
Sharpak Aylesham is looking an Operations Assistant Lead Packer.
The role involves packing and checking product manufactured from the various machine groups, to ensure only products within an acceptable tolerance are packed, to a high quality and accuracy, ready for the customer. As well as acting as a support function to the Lead Packer and Shift Manager during busier periods.
To be successful in the role you will have some experience of working within a factory or warehousing environment in either a picking or packing role and some experience in assisting to lead or leading a team. Full training will be provided.
Working hours for the position will be a weekly rotation of 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Friday.
Hourly rate for the role is currently £10.42 plus an uplift and shift allowance and is paid monthly.
