Job description

As an Operations Assistant you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, you will be supporting the General Manager to grow the team and grow the customer base too through the fantastic welcome and service we provide making sure every customer has an excellent experience.
It’s a challenging role that will offer the successful applicant the chance to demonstrate how they can move the cinema forward and grow admissions. Reporting to the General Manager, you should possess the skills to work closely with the team to set and achieve key business standards and objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team receives ongoing training & development and for implementing the company policies & procedures as well as adhering to Health & Safety legislation.
The successful applicant will:
  • Have a minimum of 2/3 years operational supervisory/management experience within a face-paced Leisure/Retail/Hospitality environment, ideally in a customer focused industry.
  • Have proven experience managing and driving sales and performance and have a natural ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Have proven experience of managing volume and large teams.
  • Have the drive to get their sleeves rolled up and have a hands-on presence whilst maintaining a commercial and strategic focus.
  • Be an enthusiastic, charismatic, self-motivated and proactive individual, with a real passion for film and the cinema industry.
