We are looking for a talented individual to undertake a 12-month paid work placement, as part of our Business Placement Programme. You will work within our Digital Technology team, starting in or around June 2023.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to build a deep knowledge of business imperatives and operational issues, as well as the opportunity to fully participate in the business. The APAC / EMEA Infrastructure Digital Technology function is a regional team working closely with all areas and sites to deliver Digital Transformation for the business.

Upon joining our team your typical responsibilities might include:
- Support includes working with the End Users to complete service requests and incident tickets.
- Technicians will own the process from start to end.
- Works with DXC Help Desk to determine and resolve problems received from clients.
- Complete requests in an accelerated delivery timeframe.
- Technicians will follow the Collins established standards and guidelines. Follow documentation and keep existing documentation updated
- Updating the IT Portal –SharePoint 2010
- Create/restore standard work/Knowledge documentation
- Perform other related duties as requirements develop.
- SCCM Operations & Deployments
- Xerox and Ysoft project support
- Ensure compliance with UTC Aerospace EHS and Ethical Policies and with Federal, State and local laws
- Compliance reporting for EMEA Sites
- Manage router alerts, IP addresses and alert lists in the SolarWinds monitoring program
- Create Guest Wireless accounts
- Assist all end-users with ServiceNow / NEXT Connect Portal queries – central POC
- Create DT Newsletters
- Split cost of the monthly DXC Invoice across sites
- Update the SEV1 Notifind list of contacts
- Deal with complex queries for a range of service offerings- I need help!
- Analyse completed MFAs and assess feedback
- Continuous improvement tasks
