Human Resources Assistant
The City Barbeque Support Center is looking for a full-time Human Resources Assistant. The HR Assistant will assist the HR team with day-to-day human resource administrative functions, especially focusing on HRIS and Benefit duties.

The City Barbeque Support Center is looking for a full-time Human Resources Assistant. The HR Assistant will assist the HR team with day-to-day human resource administrative functions, especially focusing on HRIS and Benefit duties.
Principle responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the initial contact for HR-related inquires, questions, and concerns from employees and managers. Redirects to appropriate member of the HR team.
- Enter and maintain employee data and organizational changes in the HRIS system.
- Support and approve the workflow administration of manager and teammate actions in ADP.
- Confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered and assure information is available on a timely basis.
- Support employee orientation by ensuring appropriate completion of electronic new hire paperwork.
- Assist restaurant managers and teammates by answering frequently asked questions related to benefit enrollment.
- Administer benefit plans by maintaining eligible and ineligible employee information, notifying employees when eligible, and running reports when needed.
- Calculate vacation balances and support employees in understanding PTO plans.
- Perform periodic audits of HR benefit enrollments and records to ensure that all integrated systems are up to date.
- Process Medical Support Orders.
- Assist in the administration of STD, LTD, leave of absence and FMLA claims.
- Assist HR Director with annual open enrollment period.
- Assist with scheduled and ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Perform back-up duties for other HR department members.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or equivalent education and experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Attention to details.
- Clear communication skills.
- Previous experience with HRIS preferred. Experience with ADP is a bonus.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires desk work, including large amounts of computer use.
