About the role:
An exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join the Network Health team at InPost UK. Working in a time sensitive, fast paced environment, this role will be focused on ensuring that all aspects of the asset movements across internal and external stakeholders are managed within accurate timescales, this role will also support the Network Health team with the daily duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, updating & maintaining documentation, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Compiling weekly/monthly reports
- Raising purchase orders for stock
- Managing stock levels internally & externally to ensure stock availability is always safeguarded considering lead times and raising appropriate stock orders,
- Handling inbound & outbound stock tracking using company systems
- Maintaining records for all transactions, invoices, and any reconciliation
- Updating supplier information ensuring stock is sourced from recommended suppliers.
- Auditing suppliers on monthly/quarterly basis
- Ensuring regular updates are included on internal operating system where parts are required.
- Supporting Network Health team with daily tasks, including updating the ticket system
- Ad hoc field related requests
- Review and update asset documentation
- Responding to other team’s stock enquiries
- Maintaining and organising the stock area, ensuring all parts are labelled and stored correctly
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with part manufactures
Key Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Tools
- Parts Ordering Experience 1-2 years
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering
- Good understanding of reading schematics
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively
- Customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues
- Responding to other team’s stock enquiries
- Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively
