Digital Content Assistant
The Digital Content Assistant role will support the Head of Digital Content (HDC) in providing information to business customers and prospects around the products and propositions available from British Gas. The role should help inform customers about their energy options via the provision of accurate, engaging and innovative content on britishgas.co.uk/business.
Accountabilities
- Develop written content for publication on the British Gas Business webpages.
- Audit, maintain and optimise content across the existing British Gas Business web pages, ensuring the content remains accurate and relevant, in line with our product development and regulatory requirements.
- Implement changes via Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and raise changes via Jira. Picking up card approval for prioritisation and UAT.
- Communicate the propositions of the business to customers and prospective customers through written and visual media.
- Build relationships across product development and marketing to ensure consistency in customer messaging.
- Report on the consumption of digital content and make recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor competitor and industry information sources to ensure that we remain relevant and informative.

Experience
- Experience working with CMS, ideally Adobe Experience Manager preferred.
- Experience in a copywriting role preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO principles.
