We have a very exciting opportunity available for a 5-month contract in Scarborough.
This will be joining an education provider working as a key member of the campus operations team, and supporting the Head of Campus Operations to ensure operational and financial activities run smoothly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone with a can-do flexible attitude who has the ability to communicate well with students as well as the internal teams.
Some of the main Operations Administrator duties and responsibilities are:
- Work as part of the operations team to support campus operations and projects.
- Deal with a wide range of enquiries from staff, students, and external stakeholders in person, over the phone and by email
- Process financial transactions and maintain budget information with high levels of accuracy. Liaise with internal teams regarding financial regulations and advise campus staff on matters relating to procurement and purchasing.
- Support the development of campus-wide operating processes, ensuring procedures are fit for purpose, documented, shared, and adapted as appropriate, proactively taking ownership of small-scale projects.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and handbooks.
- The collation of financial, inventory and health and safety information will inform various groups including the Senior Management Team
- Perform analytical tasks, i.e., extraction of data from spreadsheets and creation of reports for the Head of Campus Operations and Senior Management Team in a timely and detailed manner.
- Act as a key point of contact for a variety of essential campus services including Estates, Finance, IT, Catering, Facilities Management and Grounds maintenance Services; liaising with professional staff, academic staff and external contractors ensuring the effective and efficient flow of information.
This will be working Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:00pm with 1 hour for lunch, earning a salary of £21,876 pro rata.
