An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Support Assistant to join our Psychological Therapies Training Centre. We are seeking someone with previous experience as a senior administrator/business support officer with the skills to provide high level administrative support to the Operational Support Manager and wider management team. This is a varied role, where the post-holder will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of operational areas, including HR and recruitment, finance, data management, IT, and premises and facilities. Key to this role is the ability to support the development, implementation and maintenance of effective and robust systems and processes.
You will have the skills and confidence to communicate effectively at all levels, verbally and in writing, as well as a proactive, positive approach and demonstrable experience of contributing at a high level to a business support function. The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet and balance conflicting priorities. Compiling information and recording data is a key aspect of the role, therefore you will have an eye for detail along with excellent IT skills, with significant experience in the use of MS Excel. This role will be fast paced and require you to work independently and collaboratively across the Centre.
To provide high level administrative support in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective and robust systems and processes to support the operation and delivery of PTTC programmes.
To maintain the highest standards of data quality and integrity, ensuring records are accurately maintained in a timely manner, and meet the required standards of reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

- Assist the Operational Support Manager in the development and implementation of robust systems and processes across a broad remit, including but not limited to: Information management & IT, finance, recruitment/HR, training and development, premises and facilities
- Develop and maintain databases, collate, interpret and report data within agreed timeframes to support efficient budgetary management and reconciliation, requiring advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Build relationships, work collaboratively, and develop good communication systems with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Apply critical thinking in relation to current operational systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and change
