As an Operational Support Administrator you will be part of our Operational Support team who are responsible for providing full administrative support to the Operational/Commercial team.
This Operational division is responsible for the delivery of the Scottish Power Framework Contract throughout Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Dumfries. Our objective is to manage and deliver a safe and quality service to Scottish Power and to develop a relationship which enables sustained growth within this key client.
As the Operational Support Administrator your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Operate in a manner that ensures you assist the team in delivering its targets within the parameters of the agreed service level agreement and KPIs set by MUS/Scottish Power
- Managing the flow of information/work to the relevant teams to enable the completion of all activities detailed within the work order, covering excavation/cabling/reinstatement
- Ensuring that work packs are fully prepared to enable project completion
- Review actual/forecasted volumes of work versus resource plan providing quality information to the project manager
- Ensuring all projects are correctly/accurately updated through the job management system
- Ordering and reconciliation of fuel cards/phones/plant
- Collate and validate timesheets/track sheets for all operatives
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Must have MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel and ability to adapt to bespoke IT systems
- A can do attitude
- Diligent and thorough in review and entry of data onto IT systems
- Self-motivated with good organisational skills
- Be able to demonstrate a professional approach and work on own initiative
- Attentive to detail
