Operational Change Business Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays Operational Change Business Analyst you will have an exciting chance to join our team and be accountable for supporting the mitigation of risks of delivering major change within CSO, clearly defining planned changes, and assessing the potential impacts of them. You will be an integral member of the CSO Operational Change team and will play a crucial part in the implementation of operational solutions, ensuring that the needs of customers and colleagues are met.

What will you be doing?
• Taking accountability for the documented requirements, including change management and traceability, utilising appropriate business analysis and change techniques
- Identifying risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies and escalating them where required
- Validating operational designs against business requirements and conducting appropriate traceability
- Ensuring that knowledge and experience is shared through best practice
- Participating in project workshops, engaging stakeholders, subject matter experts and attendees at all levels
- Working closely with our solution architects and technical teams to turn the business vision into the desired business outcome
- Understanding the impact of requirements on Barclays UK processes, customer journeys and the business areas that use them by undertaking current state analysis
- Developing target operating models and process designs that drive the implementation of requirements in an optimal way
• Knowledge of business analysis techniques, in particular requirements elicitation and documentation, operational design, and business process mapping
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience of delivering quality output in the face of tight deadlines
- Experience of working as a Subject Matter Expert on a programme or project
• Knowledge of the Financial Services environment
- Knowledge of Change lifecycle, business case building and benefits realisation & experience of delivery of such
- Experience using formulas and pivot tables in MS Excel in support of data analysis
- Experience using MS PowerPoint to visualize and present information to stakeholders, demonstrating strong presentation and communications skills
