About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Online Trading team as an Online Trade and Sales Planning Manager, reporting into the Online Trading Lead - Planning, Supplier & Development.
This role is ideal for a superstar communicator that is commercial and insight driven. You will be forward thinking, customer focused and a strong stakeholder manager with a proven history as an effective influencer.
In this role, you will:
- Own and orchestrate the annual Online Trade Plan to meet its goals and objectives - maximising sales and profit along with customer satisfaction 
- Translate offsite to onsite digital and trading activities into commercial sales and volume forecasts 
- Develop and manage effective planning processes that ensure the Online Trade Plan serves our customers 
- Coach and support your team to manage stakeholders across business functions - as well as participate in and lead working groups in order to plan, execute and review trade plan effectiveness 
- Establish a solid framework for continuous improvement for trade planning alongside insight and analytics 
- Lead the Online Trading forecasting methodologies and data ensuring forecasts are robust and well communicated across the business 
- Drive a performance culture, providing thought leadership on evaluating data and customer insight to shape activity 
Essential skills you’ll need:
- Trade or marketing planning experience 
- Campaign management experience 
- Commercial/sales/performance forecasting experience 
- P&L ownership experience 
- Sound analytical and business insight skills 
- Highly numerate working with Excel/Sheets 
- Ability to influence across boundaries and senior leadership 
- Strong stakeholder management skills 
- Leadership and people development 
- Online experience within retail 
- Online customer journey and marketing experience
