What does being a FindMy Tutor look like?

  • A flexible schedule - you choose when, where and how you work! As a self-employed tutor working with FindMy Tutor, you have complete autonomy over your working environment. You set your own availability, allowing you to work around your other commitments.
  • A flexible pay rate – you set your own fee for each tutoring session on offer.
  • No monthly invoicing or chasing payments - we take care of the automated payment for you prior to any booked session, meaning you are free to concentrate on what you do best – tutor!
  • Access to an easy-to-use, state-of-the-art online tutoring platform - as an online tutor, you’ll be given access to a secure virtual classroom space, a dashboard providing you with up-to-date information on all your bookings and the facility to upload any useful materials for your students.

What do you need to become a Tutor on our platform?

  • A passion for tutoring!
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner
  • Willing to provide either an Enhanced DBS check (UK-based applicants) or an overseas criminal record check (overseas applicants)
  • A relevant qualification and/or experience in their chosen subject area
  • A teaching qualification (and must be able to provide proof of this)
  • Minimum two years’ experience in teaching or online tutoring

We can offer ongoing opportunities for freelance tutors in the delivery of the following topics at Primary, KS3, GCSE and A level:

  • Maths
  • Statistics
  • Plus many other topics listed on our site.

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £20.00-£60.00 per hour
