About the job
Our Marketing and Ecommerce team play an essential part in ensuring that whether our customers engage with us via our website, digital magazine or social channels, that we leave them feeling supported and uplifted in every way. As the ecommerce side of the business continues to grow and develop, we are looking for an online marketing intern to join us for an 18-month period.
Reporting into the Website Manager, you will be a bright spark with an interest in marketing and ecommerce. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience and support with the day to day operations of both the UK and US websites.
You will support our Ecommerce Executive in delivering seasonal product launches on the sites, working closely with our Merchandising and Product teams to ensure all relevant information is correct for our customers. You will also complete site testing and audits to ensure all our pages are up to date, relevant and are easy for our customers to navigate.
With a keen eye on the external market and the ecommerce landscape, you will support with brand and competitor research, as well as collating customer feedback to shape our own approach. You will also support with the weekly trade analysis from both the UK and US sites to update the business on performance.
This role will have a wide remit and you will also get involved in writing copy for our digital channels as well as supporting our social team with our online community management.
About you
We are looking for a passionate individual with an interest in marketing and ecommerce. You may have an intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment from your own experiences online.
You will be involved in content creation, writing copy and proof reading and you should therefore have excellent attention to detail with a flair for writing engaging content. Often juggling multiple priorities, you should be highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload. You should also enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and getting stuck in.
