General Purpose of Job
The IT Process Specialist is responsible for performing the tasks related to established processes and procedures used by the Information Systems group to maintain compliance with federal and commercial requirements. The IT Process Specialist reports directly to the IT Process Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities (Daily and Monthly)
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by building professional relationships with coworkers and management and communicating professionally with customers and clients.
- Be able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring scheduled goals
- are met.
- Responsible for creating a roster, having appropriate forms signed, and uploading into BPO SharePoint for BPO UAM processing.
- As needed, review and conduct Security Clearance activities with employees.
- Partner with BPO, Edfinancial, Edamerica, Medfinancial departments, and sub-contractors to complete new hire, exit, and transfer requests.
- Ensure all needed information has been submitted for New Hire requests including badge photo, new hire paperwork, shipping address, training location, and any other information needed.
- Perform quarterly credential recertification for all departments in the NFP, BPO, EDA, and MED companies.
- Track and analyze trends in new hire and exit requests and generate statistical reports.
- Work with subcontractors on maintaining and reporting on the inventory of workstations, thin-clients, peripherals (keyboards, mice, cameras, headsets, smartcards, etc.), monitors, and other necessary IT equipment.
- Works with the manager in gathering data for reporting clearance processing, new hires, and separations.
- Sponsor and approve PIV-I card requests when clearance is processed.
- Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by IT Management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma ( Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
- Intermediate Computer Skills Preferred
- Able to obtain a federal security clearance
