Retail Assistant - Part Time Freelance
JE Gallery is a small online gallery specialising in Chinese and Japanese art & design. We are recruiting a smart and highly-motivated part time Retail Assistant to join us immediately. The successful applicant will be required to work between 2-3 days per week and will be based in our office in central Croydon.
Responsibilities
Assisting with all day-to-day operations of the business including:
- Experience of working in a retail environment, packing and posting customer orders
- Assisting in preparing stock, labeling, quality control, processing deliveries
- Providing first class customer services
- Assisting with the photo shooting and picture editing
- Assisting with posters design and writing press releases
- Assisting with the online marketing, search engine optimisation, keyword planner, maintaining website, blog and social media
Competencies
- Efficient, diligent and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good computer skill, familiar with adobe creative suite
- Friendly & helpful, always put the customer first
- Passion for Chinese & Japanese art & design
- Able to work independently & remotely
- Speak English fluently
* The daily rate is £83 (for 7.5 working hours)
