Please note this role is a 12 month maternity cover
About the Role
- Support the daily/ weekly trading process providing timely and insightful information, to work with the OCM to execute the delivery of the category commercial goals on the website
- Analyse commercial performance and support the OCM in converting to Range and Trading recommendations
- Support in the data and documentation for range planning, buy volumes, OTB and product launch
- Input to channel stock allocation principles and plans
- Support in data and reporting to the OCM for seasonal promotions, prices, markdowns and clearance
- Support in identifying stock issues and slow sellers to the OCM
- Ownership of regular commercial reporting to support decision making.
- Support the online planning team to manage Castle Donington capacity, liaising with Central Planning, Logistics and Demand
- Support the commercial team with packs and analysis to make recommendations for change and drive performance online
- Support the commercial team to input financial plans into relevant systems
About You
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to build good relationships at all levels
- Knowledge of the business IT systems
- Ability to analyse and report information
- Good knowledge of trading, merchandising and promotion principles
- Ability to plan and document information for easy use
- Commercial acumen and understanding of financial implications
- Ability to work with reactionary trading changes; subsequently prioritising workload
