Job description
A rare opportunity has has led to a requirement for a Manual Turner with good experience of manual/conventional (non-CNC) Turning and Milling machines to join my client. Additional experience of CNC machining would be an advantage.
Duties:
Manufacture and repair of parts, using manual (non-CNC) lathes, milling & boring machines.
Experience working on Colchester Lathes advantageous.
Overtime available
Candidate must be able to read engineering drawings. Machine to tight tolerances and will be working as a team member amongst experienced machinists established for many years.
PPE Supplied
The company offer a competitive hourly rate of between £16.00 per hour for 39 hours per week with additional hours paid at £24 per hour.

This is a temp-to-perm role with candidates looking to transfer over to a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
