Job description

Role Purpose: Own and maintain product content and data across a given number of trading categories on the Morrisons.com websites, being responsible for the merchandising of our online product offer, providing customers with accurate product information and making it easy for them to navigate the website, whilst ensuring all our product content is accurate, up to date and legally compliant. Lead, manage, and develop the online pricing, promotional and compliance processes. Improve the ways of working, build tools to support these processes, ensuring accurate and timely data feeds into the Morrison’s Food.com website, our online offer is legally compliant and aligned to our store offer, where applicable, and our online customers are provided with the best online journey and experience. Coach and support the webshop advisors on price, promotions and compliance, overseeing the implementation of website changes and the daily and weekly maintenance of these elements

Accountabilities: Customer (internal and external) • Embrace a strong customer service culture where there is a passion and a desire to ensure a high quality of data input and accuracy contributing to an industry leading online customer experience. • Work to help resolve customer queries, react to customer requests and provide information that will support the customer contact centre and provide a great customer experience • Conduct a daily store walk of your products, ensuring a regular sweep of category pages and site functionality, recording any necessary amendments and applying remedies and fixes to improve the customer journey Colleague • Support the wider webshop advisors peer group, taking responsibility for other categories as and when required to ensure the entire workload of the team is completed in a timely manner. • Support the webshop manager and specialists in the overall management of webshop daily tasks and development of processes and ways of working and deputise as and when required. Operational • Process online range changes, ensuring new items, delisted items and associated administrative changes are carried out in a timely manner and executed to a high standard so that our online offer is aligned perfectly to our in store offer • Process subs and alts, taxonomy and tagging changes ensuring changes are carried in a timely manner and executed to a high standard • Work with Brandbank and suppliers to ensure samples for images are delivered and processed on time, in line with the critical path, data is accurate and up to date and resolve any queries quickly • Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and company standards is adhered to, in all range work in order to protect the reputation of the brand, mitigate fines/sanctions as a consequence of breaches and provide a great customer experience • Maintain search terms across your categories ensuring all terms deliver a clean and accurate return for the customer • Support the webshop specialist on the management of price and promotional changes across both your categories and other categories where required Sales, Profit and Cash • Support and contribute ideas to any trial or development work that continuously improves our daily webshop processes and ways of working, that in turn enables us to deliver a more efficient and profitable model, be that through the operation within Hilmore or at the CFC or in store. Role Measurement: • Accuracy of core product data, including, description, size, price, UEP, images and back of pack information shown on the webshop • Timely delivery of all range changes including new SKU’s, delisted SKU’s and associated admin changes • Speedy resolution of customer queries, feedback analysed and actioned • Compliant/legal accuracy of the webshop across your given categories • Delivery and accuracy of substitution and alternative settings • Delivery and accuracy of taxonomy and tagging settings • Maintenance and accuracy of search terms across your categories • Maintenance and accuracy of promotional pricing and offers across your categories Dimensions: • Manage and maintain all range changes and associated data changes across a range of up to/ circa 5000 SKU’s across a set of given categories, including item descriptions, sizes, UEP’s, images, associated attributes, back of pack content, any additional information and legal requirements that feed into the Morrisons.com website across all digital devices • Manage and maintain all substitutes & alternatives and tagging and associated taxonomy changes for those same SKU’s across those same given categories • Work in a webshop team that has a wider responsibility of content for more than 28,000+ SKU’s and as such you will be required to carry out some tasks that apply to all or a larger amount of SKU’s
