Job Description:

As a Patient Enquiries Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the enquiries from potential patients and their families who are seeking mental health support from our service. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each enquiry is dealt with promptly, efficiently and with sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound calls, emails and web enquiries from potential patients and their families, providing them with information about our services and answering any questions they may have.
  • Ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently, meeting the needs of the enquirer and our service.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients and families, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with our service.
  • Work closely with the wider administration team and operationalise treatment programmes to ensure that patients receive the care and support they need.
  • Keep accurate records of all enquiries and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our services and the mental health sector in general.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and escalate any issues or concerns to the COO.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our service.

Skills and Experience:

  • A-level education or equivalent is required.
  • Experience of working in a mental health service or related field is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a calm and professional approach.
  • Good IT skills, with experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
