Office Manager

37 hours a week, all year round

Castle Donington College is a small 11-16 school. We have 660 pupils on role across five-year groups (Years 7 to 11). The College is situated on the Northwest edge of Leicestershire on the Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire border and within 30 minutes’ drive of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough and Burton, being close to the M1 and A50.

We are now looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, dynamic, committed and highly organised Office Manager. This is a key role in our school and the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the school office and administration.

They will be responsible for ensuring that the school office provides an effective, efficient and pro-active administrative support function for all stakeholders and that the delivery of this is in line with our school values.

This role will be a vital link between the school, families and the local community. The successful candidate will be capable of adapting to an ever-changing working environment, be able to affect change positively with your leadership skills; and formulate innovative solutions to improve working practices. We are therefore looking for someone with an empathetic approach to customer services and a diligent outlook, and a passion for administration.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
