The Company:

Our client is the UK’s leading provider of support services to the legal sector with more than 800 people based in 45 client sites. They provide quality of support delivered to partners and fee-earners.

The Job:

As an Office Manager/ Legal PA your responsibilities will be to support 2 Partners and ensure the office runs smoothly. They require someone with real estate administration experience as this will be a pivotal role in their Glasgow office.

  • Answer telephones and greet clients
  • Assist on, sometimes, sensitive client matters
  • Respond to clients and provide updates to clients
  • File opening and closing
  • Ensuring compliance on files
  • Deal with correspondence relating to financial matters
  • Some reception duties
  • Taking responsibility for paying bills and day to day banking
  • Log and distribute incoming mail including regular and electronic mail
  • Provide regular updates to the legal team
  • Collect and retrieve information from files as needed
  • Process and distribute documents effectively
  • Plan and schedule appointments, conferences, and meetings
  • Provide administrative support including copying, scanning and faxing
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Interim billing of files working to the Court’s practice guidelines
  • Regular checking of bank accounts to accurately review spending and arrange top-up from investment sources as appropriate

The Person:

For this role they are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Real Estate legal administration experience is essential
  • Exceptional PA services experience
  • Competent with all Microsoft packages
  • Excellent multi-tasker and High attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional approach
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Ability to work as part of a team alongside working independently

The Benefits:

25 days holiday plus bank holidays, PMI, 4 x DIS, Pension

The Location:

Glasgow (G2) no car parking and some hybrid working available (ideally you will be office based)

The Salary:

£30-35,000

The Hours:

Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
